This is also referred to by Bernie Bergmann as Part No: 911 SUPER FLOW 5.5"-5.6" rod
This 911 kit is shipped with the alternator, fan, ring and idler pulley fully assembled.
The shrouds come in 3 different widths to accommodate engines that have been built with stock length rods (5.4") or engines with 5.5"-5.6" rods and 5.7" rod lengths.
If you are not sure as to what rod length you have in your engine, simply measure the distance from the top exhaust stud on one side of the engine to the top exhaust stud on the other side of the engine.
A stock length rod engine should be approximately 20"
An engine with 5.5" or 5.6" rods will measure out at 20.5"
Engines with 5.7" length rods will be 21"
This MADE IN THE USA kit is made to fit VW engines with 5.5" & 5.6" rods & SUPER FLOW heads & COMPETITION ELIMINATOR heads.
