VDO oil temperature sender reads to 300 Degrees.
Fits in the vw drain plug hole*.
Thread pitch is 14 x 1.5 .
If you want to use this in the drain plate be sure you are NOT using an oil screen. This interferes with the screen.
This is best used on engines that are full flowed or bypass filter flowed running a filter, OR where you can tap a hole that is 14mm x 1.5 thread pitch.
*This is TOO tall to fit if you are running an oil screen, unless you add a thicker washer or washers to the install.
