Re-designed with added support where needed to handle even the toughest of shifts, the new BUGPACK Reverse Lockout Plate easily replaces inferior quality and worn lockout plates.
Made in the USA from the best quality material available.
Fits all stock and push-button reverse lockout style shifters.
Unbolt your shifter & remove it. Sitting on top of the tunnel, is this plate.
The long ramp side goes on the pass side of the tunnel and sticks UP.
Note from Doghouse:
I was working on a trike that would not get reverse. I inspected the stock shifter plate and found it to have a slight groove on the ramp side step. Nothing unusual about that after years or service. However after I measured the opening (window that the shift ball fits through) I found that it was slightly larger than the window on the new Bugpack plate. I installed the plate sold here and right away the shift function improved & after a few slight adjustments, I got all the gears and reverse!
