May I suggest a brand new chrome clamp?
Use this when you don't have any vacuum ports on your carb.
Fits all type 1, type 2 and type 3, type 4 & 914 but NOT FUEL INJECTION.
Has an Empi world logo stamped in the smooth body of the dist (shown).
In a race engine we built, this distributor timed at 10btdc at 1000 rpm, would advance at 3200rpm to 38btdc.
