Now you can save all that grinding and filing you'd normally do to allow the bell crank on your carb the clearance it needs to swing past that bulge on an alternator.
Sure this will raise up your 28/30* pict carb 1", but it shouldn't be critical so as to make any air filter not fit.
Buy part# 3254 to get the carb base gasket to go under this and on top of this.
The center to center measurement on the adapter holes is 2 1/8" - this is what you'll find a 30 pict style carb stud spacing is.
*IF you don't have a 28/30 pict carb, this likely won't fit.
