Description:
Late shift coupling with Heavy Guage Steel cage, urethane kit & a heavy duty bolt.
For shift rod on bugs 65 on, type 3 & bus 68-79.
This installs with a pass through shaft & lag bolt* and a pointed locate bolt.
I warm the urethane square inserts with a hair dryer to make it easier to squeeze them into the metal cage (with pliers).
I can't imagine ever selling any one person this coupler twice for the same car.
Empi packaged.
*The lag bolt however is a ONE time install bolt. If you need to take it back off, you'll need to go to the hardware store and buy another bolt.
