Description:
oil pump fits bug engines with a flat cam gear & 8mm oil pump studs.
Comes with a full flow outlet face.
Made from Cast Iron and precision machined for maximum performance and distortion free fit.
This Heavy Duty pump is 38% larger than stock.
Pump is full flow ready, WITHOUT an exit passage port (although the pump shown has that port). NO need to thread the pump body.
Provides increased oil pressure, flow and volume with it's 30mm gears.
Packaged with our matching EMPI Steel Cover with a 3/8" NP threaded boss, 8mm Allen Head Cap Screw Bolts and gaskets.
Empi packaged.
Caution: Anytime a large geared or brand new oil pump is installed in an air cooled vw engine, it is likely that you will experience higher oil pressures than you had before. Exactly how high depends on the circumstances or condition of the engine or it's build. It is possible that the pressure will be higher than expected and modifications will be needed to lower the pressure to acceptable levels. Consult your favorite vw mechanic for advice on this subject.
