As the pic shows, this is an IMI 101 starter, made to work with a Corvair engine.
Note: some Corvair flywheels have 127 teeth and others have more. Count the teeth before ordering and put the count in the comments box as you close. If you don't, you may not get the right gear on your starter.

Measure from the starter mount 'face' to the starter bushing.
If the distance from where the starter mounts onto the transmission to the starter bushing is 2": you need to use the 002 / beetle / Mendeola style starter.
If the distance from where the starter mounts onto the transmission to the starter bushing is 2 1/2": you need to use the bus 091 style starter.
Transmission builders sometimes put the 002 style bell housing on an 091 transmission because the starter is cheaper in cost.
Measure your transmission BEFORE you order the starter.
