The case design of this 300 amp continuous load cut off switch allows 3 mounting possibilities:
surface mount - mount the entire switch on the outside of the surface
rear mount - mount everything but the actual switch handle behind the surface
front mount - mount the main body of the switch behind the surface and leave the face of the switch with the switch handle showing on the surface
Switch features:
tin plated copper studs for maximum conductivity
those studs accept 3/8" ring terminals
cranking rating- 10 seconds 1500 amp
intermittent rating- 5 minutes 500 amp
continuous rating- 300 amp
cable size to meet ratings 4/0 awg
UL listed - Ul 1107 electric power switch
meets UL 1500 and sae J1171 ignition protection requirements
Switch has make before break contact design, which allows switching between batteries without power interruption.
