Part number:
30350
Your cost:
$75.00
Description:
Chrome coil can be mounted in a variety of positions as shown. Your coil clamp will need to be modified to fit atop the shroud (1st 2 pics) and you'll need to make a mount for it to fit off the cyl tins (3rd pic).
Works with points or electronic modules.
Gap your plugs at 28 (4th pic) like we do, when using this coil. It's that good.
40,000 volt Compu-Fire 3 ohm.
Compatible with Empi's distributors.
Comes without a mounting bracket.
Great replacement coil for the stock vw coil or the bosch blue coil.
Does not require a resistor ballast.
Epoxy filled to better protect the guts inside (including the resistor).
Mount it in any position.
Manufactured and warranted by Pertronix, in the USA.
Some suppliers will tell you this must be used in conjunction with a Compu-Fire drop in module...NOT TRUE, run it on points if you want, just make sure your gap is correct and that your point rubbing block is not plastic. I have many customers using this with points that have the fiber rubbing block.
