distributor clamp, steel, chromed for bug style engines NOT late BUS.
Common on bug 61-79, ghia 61-74, type 2 61-71 & type 3 64-73.
Comes Empi packaged with a chrome nut on it.
I toss the chrome nut and put on a small plated washer & nylock nut when I install these.
Don't install your distributor with a gap below the dist clamp.
It MUST sit flat on the block without a gap.
If yours doesn't, make it, with some gentle manipulation.
