Want to reverse your end castings for moving the intake behind the shroud?

start with good end castings and make sure the gasket sealing surface is perfectly smooth w/o gouges or scrapes.
grab the lip on the shroud with good pliers and bend the lip towards the shrouds back side.
on the 1-2 side of the engine, it won't take much of a bend to clear the casting
on the 3-4 side, it will take all that you can bend and then you must tap that bent lip further with a hammer to get the clearance you need
the rest of the intake swapping is not so easy, and is not covered here.
for our turbo pipe install we had to trim away a small section of the fans intake lip
we also snipped through the thin part of each spark plug hole, in the cylinder tins, to enable the castings to fit w/o force
