These tanks MAY require some slight modifications to the bolt hole areas in order to do a proper install.
The sending unit (shown, but not included) is almost at what will be the top seam of the tank, as shown in this picture of another tank.
Gas tank for super beetles 71-74.
Early super beetles require 1 fuel outlet (like the 71 pictured).
Late super beetles require 2 outlets.
This fuel tank comes with 1 outlet.
Rinse these out with 1 gal of gas prior to install. Comes in an oversize box.
Tank comes black but if you spill gas on it the black quickly washes right off. This is just the bare tank.
