chrome tin set backing plate set fits both generator & alternator
3 piece - inner, outer & support ring.
The tins are chrome, the ring is not.
Empi packaged.
If you've put on your backing plate as in the 'installed' pic here, you've put it on upside down. The hole in the tin goes 'below' the alternator. The post on the alt is up and the hole would be down when done correctly.
Also, the inside tin goes on with the "open slot" 'below' the alternator.
