1641cc short block new build - sold

This started with a dual relief block that had been align bored to 20 over
It has case savers and 10mm dual port studs
The 4 dowel dished cam & lifters came with it and we reused them since they are like new with NO wear
The stock 69mm crank had been ground to 10 over on both the mains & rods

The block was steam cleaned to allow a thorough inspection
New main bearings, rod bearings and double thrust cam bearings are installed
The rods are like new and are reused. Rod side play is as new & better
The block has the big pickup tube for oil

The relief springs and plungers are stock except for the pulley end plunger which is grooved.
The flywheel is stock
The gland nut is German and is reused
A new German stock drain plate is installed with a new oil screen kit
The oil pump is a stock VW style with 26mm gears

A dry torque test is performed before any sealant is applied to the case halves (pic with torque wrench)
