1835 long block new build - sold

Description:
this long block started as an AE block dual relief 1600 that had been built recently to an 1835 and then allowed to sit outside. This allowed rust to develop in the cylinders and then it didn't run well afterwords.
That's when we came into the picture.
The block was torn down and steam cleaned & inspected.
The block is 40 over, the crank is 20 over & so are the rod journals.
We reused the stock rods since they were perfect.
All new bearings are installed.
The new Engle 110 cam and lifters (kept mated) are reused.
The oil pump with a full flow style face is reinstalled.
The stock oil drain plate with a drain plug is reinstalled with a stock oil screen.
The lightened flywheel is reinstalled using a stock German gland nut & large washer.
New AA p/cyl kit with new Total Seal Gapless 2nd rings is installed
Newly rebuilt heads by Brothers Machine are installed (stock valves, 3 angle grind, w/ single hi rev spring kit).
Compression is set at 8.5:1 (run 87 pump gas all day long)
New p-rod tubes hold performance aluminum p-rods.
Bolt together rocker shafts with stock rockers and swivel feet go on it.
Stock valve covers & bales close up the ends.
