Description:
This long block started as an AH block dual relief 1600.
The block was torn down and steam cleaned & inspected.
The block has been opened for the 94's.
The block has been align bored to 20 over, the crank is 20 over & the rod journals are 10 over (all by Brothers Machine).
The stock rods are rebuilt to brand new
The oil galleys were drilled & tapped for cleaning by Brothers Machine.
All new bearings are installed.
New Empi 110 cam and drilled lobe lifters kit goes in.
New Schadek 26mm oil pump.
Stock oil drain plate with a drain plug is reinstalled with a new stock oil screen.
The new lightened 8 dowel flywheel is held on by a chromoly gland nut & large washer.
New AA p/cyl kit with new Total Seal Gapless 2nd rings is installed.
Stock 8mm head studs are reused.
Newly rebuilt & (intake ported) heads by Brothers Machine are installed (3 angle valve job, stock valves & single hi rev spring kit).
Compression is set at 8.5:1 (run 87 pump gas all day long)
New p-rod tubes hold the stock p-rods.
Bolt together rocker shafts with stock rockers & swivel foot adjusters go on it.
Stock valve covers & bales close up the ends.
