This Dual Relief engine came to us in a crap car.
We removed it and put it on our test bench to get running.
Once running, we heard a noise.
We pulled the rods off and replaced them with new rebuilts (Brothers Machine) and new 10 over rod bearings.
New 87mm AA p/cylinder kit
New pushrod tubes of course (w/ silicone seals)
New distributor & clamp
New fan belt
Painted the cool tins
Replaced the top cylinder covers with new
Cleaned the block
Cleaned and polished the rocker shafts
Cleaned and polished the push rods
Cleaned and leak tested the heads
Cleaned & painted the end castings & center manifold
Cleaned & painted the fan shroud
Cleaned the flywheel and replaced the O-ring and flywheel seal
Drained the oil & cleaned the screen, replaced oil with new of course (YOU change it again in 500 miles)
Added 5 new drain cap nuts
Adjusted the carb, set the timing
Set the compression at 8.9:1 so it will have plenty of power and still run 87 octane gas
It had a generator on it and it wouldn't provide consistent volts so I just put on an alternator kit 3-29-19
Comes with a clutch disc and pressure plate
Comes with the back doghouse cooler tins
Comes with the firewall tin for in your car
Comes with heater boxes
