1641cc AM block (3 bolt) new build from rod bearings out - sold

This 1973 dual relief (3 bolt pattern for type 3 & bus with the ‘mustache’ bar) block came to us as a running core engine out of a Thing we were putting a new 1915 block into.

We tore it down to the block, inspected it & then:
Newly rebuilt & balanced rods by Brothers Machine
New Silverline Steel backed rod bearings.
Negligible wear on the lifters and none on the (stock dished gear) cam lobes.
Nice clean drain plate & oil screen, now cleaned and repainted.
Original VW 26mm geared oil pump, cleaned & inspected & reused after repainting the cover and new gaskets.
New 87mm piston & cylinder set (1641cc)
Brothers Machine newly rebuilt stock heads (7.5:1 Compression Ratio)
Added new cylinder cool tins
New stock pushrod tubes
Cleaned & polished the rocker assemblies
New valve adjusters & HD nuts
Cleaned the pushrods
New valve cover gaskets inside oe vw valve covers
New flywheel O-ring & flywheel seal
