We have two of these bug style transmissions
We drained each and no chunks or brass came out. Very minimal amount of metal was on the magnetic drain plugs.
To insure that there wasn't any debris hiding in the trans, we added new oil, then rolled the trans on it's ends and it's sides repeatedly, then drained again. Nothing but nice oil came out.
Core charges are more then I'm asking for these.
