This is a type 1 based kit.
Disc brake kit, 4 lug rear. Caliper can mount above the axle or to the rear of the axle.
Kit includes 2 rear axle seal kits, 2 zinc plated steel caliper mounting brackets, 2 calipers (2 bleed nipples each) with pads already installed, 4 caliper mounting bolts and 2 rotors.
We suggest you use 4, 3/8" lock washers (not included), on the caliper mounting bolts.
For 1968 SWING axles & 68 on IRS.
Off road 8 piece kit doesn't have e-brake.
Empi boxed with instructions for an e-brake kit. Disregard the e-brake related instructions.
Kit weighs just under 54#s and ships out as 55#s.
