These tanks will require some slight modifications to the bolt hole areas in order to do a proper install.
Empi says this is a 10.5 gal capacity tank. My 78 super's tank took 11.225 gals at the gas station. I can't explain it.
Gas tank for super beetles 75-79.
Early super beetles require 1 fuel outlet.
Late super beetles require 2 outlets.
This fuel tank comes with 2 outlets.
YOU must PLUG one outlet when only one fuel outlet is required.
Rinse these out with 1 gal of gas prior to install. Comes in an oversize box.
Tank comes black but if you spill gas on it the black quickly washes right off. This is just the bare tank.
