1) You just lost the axle spacer (outer spacer) that your seal seals against in a swing axle...you'll want this to put it all together.
2) Or, your spacer is worn and your seal won't seal against it and you're tired of oily brake shoes.
3) Or, you've just bought a rear disc brake kit for your swing axle rail or car and your car has the long axles. The disc brake kit you bought is a short axle design. You'll need this spacer to fill the void between the rotor and the axle nut.
15mm wide and 45mm o.d. and 30mm i.d.
If 15mm isn't wide enough for you, buy kit part# 16-2401 and use the 18mm spacers from it.
