for the late bus only 75-78 small 3 bolt flange eliminates the catalytic converter so it's illegal in Calif & who knows where else.
I put one on my bus with the quiet muffler and it's sweet! Be prepared with longer bolts than you'd think necessary to help line up the holes with those of your manifolds coming off your engine, as those may be tweaked and that makes install difficult.
