Empi transmission coolers will fit any vehicle fitted with an automatic transmission where space permits. Bigger is better is the rule of thumb as you can never over-cool a transmission. When checking the size application to your vehicles needs, consider the GVW we list versus that of your vehicle.
When in doubt, go to the next larger size.
If you plan to tow a trailer or haul a heavy load, install the largest cooler you can make fit the space available.
Plates on the coolers are top and bottom brazed together to radiate heat away from the passes in opposite directions. The 72 plate cooler has 36 plates brazed together on opposing sides of the passes. 96 plates coolers have 48 plates & so on.
