Description:
We sell the 930 Super boots (shown) that fasten on with either big giant hose clamps (which we don't sell), safety wire, common bailing wire or these very cool stainless steel bands that are 29 1/2" (use able is 26") long x 7mm wide.
These require nothing more than common pliers to pull tight and close the buckle. Trim to fit your application.
These bands also fit the 930 Turbo type boot that is part# 86-9301 and is seen in kit 86-9300.
Empi - sold each.
These stainless steel bands don't cut easily. I tried wire dikes, tin snips, industrial scissors and finally finished with my 4" cutting wheel doing the trick!
I use these as back ups on my swing axle boots also, in case the common hose clamp breaks.
These clamps are also handy for fastening exhaust heat wrap.
