Empi pulley features approximately 3 1/2 Lbs in a stock size form.
These pulleys have the ability to reduce crankshaft vibration, thus resulting in much longer engine case and bearing life.
Fully balanced and featuring a silver zinc finish with durable bright white timing marks and numbers on a black background.
Comes with washers 8688-6 to move the pulley away from the tin so it doesn't rub. These washers can also be used to align the belt.
This pulley is actually a tad larger than a stock size after market pulley. To compensate for that, Empi tells you in the install directions for this pulley that you may need to run between 7 & 10 shims to make your belt fit.
We installed one of these pulleys on the class 11 car we co-sponsor. We run an 11.3 x 912 belt on that car with an alternator with an Empi chrome pulley. Our install used 7 shims between the pulley halves & 3 on the outside for spare.
