Description:
If your squareback has a bearer bar at the back of the engine, and it bolts to a rod with 2 bolts, at the top it has 2 more bolts that hold the top part of the support to the body, and your rubber dampers are bad, this is an answer.
Since no one seems to sell the rubber replacements for that engine mount, we modified a stock rubber bug front suspension snubber.
Buy 4 of these snubbers and cut the closed end off of 2 of them. Those 2 will be your top rubbers. Set them aside for now.
On the other 2, cut the closed end off again, but don't cut off more than you need to, or just drill straight through to make a hole all the way through the snubber. It's got to be a big hole though, because the bearer bar vertical brace must be able to pass through it. These 2 are your bottom rubbers.
Put it all together and keep driving.
