Description:
This kit is for 1 1/2" headers & 1 3/8" j-tubes or heater boxes that are not already flanged.
If you have a std size exhaust header (1 1/2" od) and std size j-tubes or heater boxes (1 3/8" od) and you want to flange them so you never have to replace a missing clamp, this kit will do it. WELDING REQUIRED.
This kit includes: 2 flanges for the j-tubes or heater boxes, 2 flanges for the header, 2 exhaust gaskets to go between the flanges, 4 bolts to go through the flanges, 8 wavy thrust washers and 4 copper locking nuts.
Install your system, mark where to cut, cut, remove system and debris, clean area to weld flanges and file down rough edges, reassemble system with flanges and gaskets already loosely bolted together, position flanges & tack weld in place, undo bolts holding flanges together, remove system, fully weld flanges, reassemble system & tighten down all hardware. DONE
